HEY, I'M PIOTR ☕

the product guy who is CPO by day, builder by nature, advisor on request

I bring focus — high enough to set strategy, close enough to still build things myself. Building high-performing product teams that deliver real outcomes, fast.

01 · THE CAREER

The road so far.

Every step taught me a different altitude of the same job: make the thing people need, then make the org that makes the thing.

  1. MAR 2024 — NOW

Chief Product Officer — Team Internet Group (Commerce Media Tech)

Ad-tech SaaS: Voluum & Zeropark. Cut 45 scattered initiatives down to 4 core rebuilds and 6 strategic bets, set the group's market positioning, and led its product and AI transformation — while still shipping experimental products myself, on principle.

  2. JAN 2023 — MAR 2024

Head of Product Management — same company, the fix-the-foundations chapter

Turned feature factories into teams that own outcomes: product triads, a real user-research culture, separate strategies for both products. Time-to-value down 60%, team eNPS from 20 to 54 — and a promotion to CPO after 14 months.

  3. 2023 — NOW

    Founder — Shoshin.pm

Strategy consultancy run by practitioners who still practice. Workshops that end in decisions, then execution support — for Allegro, Betfan, Kuźniar Media, Valueships, Rohlig SUUS Logistics.

  4. JAN — AUG 2024

Interim Head of Product — Olly Olly, Charlotte NC (remote)

The parachute gig: pivoted a marketing agency into a SaaS for US home-service pros. Shipped v1, got the first 1,000 paying customers, built the activation engine, handed over.

  5. JUL 2022 — JAN 2023

Senior PM / Product Practice Lead — Ramp Network, London

Clarified the B2B2C Partners strategy into two product lines and shipped the Partners Portal from zero: retention up 12%, issue-resolution time cut ~5×. Led the product-practice transformation on the side.

  6. JUN 2021 — JUL 2022

Product Manager — Housecall Pro, San Diego

Owned the calendar — where users spend 90% of their time. Built the area's 3-year strategy, cut lost jobs 6% for the key segment, and sold everyone on an engine rebuild with zero "immediate value" that unlocked everything after. First PM in Poland; hired 3 PMs and 2 designers.

  7. SEP 2020 — JUN 2021

Product Manager — Delivery Hero (via Netguru)

Innovation arm of the world's biggest food delivery (2M daily users). White-label groceries engine built in a month, live in Talabat and Hungerstation in two, 20% of early restaurant customers converted to grocery delivery.

  8. MAR 2018 — SEP 2020

Project / Product Manager — Netguru

Co-built Netguru's product management practice. Click & collect for Żabka, a US insurtech, a Berlin catering app — alongside the future founder of Gorillas.

  9. ORIGIN STORY

Production planner — roller blinds, then tires

Started in the warehouse, got moved to planning, then built an Excel macro that planned the entire production line for me — components, forecasts, output. That was the day I realised I don't want to plan products. I want to build them.

→ the long version, with every number sourced: ask for it

02 · SIDE PROJECTS

Things I ship before standup.

Deep in the Claude ecosystem, always an experiment or two running. The current cast:

Reality Check

Your calendar says you're free. Your nervous system disagrees. Reality Check shows how loaded the coming weekends actually are — so you know whether to answer the kayaking invite with "of course!" or "how about mid-July?"

STATUS: SHIPPING · SAVING MY WEEKENDS

LiftNotes

One shared space for a personal trainer and the person they coach — training plans, progress, and the small wins that get lost between gym sessions.

STATUS: IN THE GYM · REPS: COUNTING

The next one

Always brewing. Built fast, validated faster — the same way I tell companies to do it, just with more coffee and two dogs supervising.

STATUS: BREWING · ETA: ONE WEEKEND

03 · EDUCATION

I teach product people.

Education always mattered to me — but too many programs are theory taught by people who left the field. I'm building the antidote.

  • NEW
Budowanie Produktów Cyfrowych — postgraduate programA hands-on postgrad I'm building end-to-end at Collegium Da Vinci in Poznań: how to build good digital products and ship them with AI — solo, if you have to. You leave with things you built, not "nice knowledge". See the program →
  • 🎓
Lecturer, Collegium Da Vinci · 2019–2022Taught effective communication in remote teams on the IT Project Management program.
  • W
Strategy workshopsVia Shoshin.pm — rooms full of sticky notes, honest diagnoses and hard trade-offs. Details one door down.

"Interesting lecture" is a failing grade.
"I actually built something" — that's a pass.

— the whole idea behind the program

04 · WORK WITH ME

Two ways in.

Beyond the day job, there are exactly two doors — pick by how much is on fire. Either way, the same beliefs apply:

strategy is what you say no to diagnosis before roadmap a living process, not a document focus is a value in itself
WORKSHOPS + EXECUTION · SHOSHIN.PM

Strategy, done with you

A consultancy run by practitioners who still practice. We don't hand you a deck and leave — we facilitate your answer with your people, then stay to execute it.

  • strategy scoping — diagnose where you actually stand
  • strategy stack — make the hard choices, together
  • execution — we implement it with you, in practice

EMBEDDED · FRACTIONAL / INTERIM

Interim product lead

Your Head of Product left, the roadmap is a rumour, and the board meeting is in three weeks. I parachute in.

  • stabilise the team and the plan
  • restart discovery and shipping
  • hire my own replacement, hand over, leave

DONE AT: OLLY OLLY (AGENCY → SAAS, FIRST 1,000 PAYING) · RAMP NETWORK

call me when it's messy.

THE CONSCIOUS NO'S → no roles where the strategy is fixed and I'm just there to execute · no slides-and-leave consulting · no organisations that don't want to be challenged · no micromanagement cultures

05 · SECOND OPINIONS

Don't take my word for it.

"A very down-to-earth CPO. What truly sets Piotr apart is his ability to balance high-level vision with pragmatic execution — empowering individuals to take ownership, always ready to support without micromanaging."

REUBEN — PRODUCT MANAGER,
REPORTED TO PIOTR AT COMMERCE MEDIA TECH

"I like their style — organised, professional, assertive, sharing knowledge in a way that's light but effective. They work a bit like therapists you resent for only asking questions. But asking is a craft."

JAROSŁAW KUŹNIAR — JOURNALIST, FOUNDER OF VOICE HOUSE,
ON WORKING WITH SHOSHIN.PM (TRANSLATED)

"An astute product manager with an indisputable talent for setting his team up for success. He never shied away from reaching out to users through every channel he could find — and is never afraid to question the status quo."

PRODUCT DESIGNER — SQUAD-MATE
AT HOUSECALL PRO
